The liver is an organ that serves several functions in the body, including glucose metabolism to provide energy other tissues. Hepatocytes are primary functional cells of liver, which also regulate release via transport protein-2. Hepatocyte injury could occur from toxic substances and diseases such as Diabetes Mellitus. Alloxan organic compound commonly used diabetes research a diabetogenic agent. causes through selective inhibition glucose-stimulated insulin secretion induced formation reactive oxygen species (ROS) promotes pancreatic beta cell necrosis. affects liver's histological condition, hepatocellular structure glycogen content.
